Loch Ba
There is a lifetime of photography to be had in this area. At every turn and on every day of the year there is a different view, different weather conditions and a beauty that is unsurpassed. It can appear the most tranquil of places and within hours the most hostile and unforgiving. When seeking escape, exhileration, adventure or just somewhere to think, Rannoch is of the places I go. Truly a special place.

The photo was taken on a bitterly cold morning with -17 degrees of "heat", which rose little over the 2 hours I was out on the shoot (the location had been chosen on a previous visit when the conditions had not been right).
