Kildonan Point
Arran is another of Scotland's many treasures. Most go to the north of the island and this was my first visit to the southern tip. As the evening drew in the dramatic sky and coast came alive and started to glow in the soft light. With the tide coming in rapidly I had little time to consider an alternative location and having found my spot I simply waited until the other elements came together. Fortunately they did before the rising water came over my boots (for once!).
