Scaur Glen

It took 3 days of trial and error to capture this image. Each time I completed a series of shots I would return to the camper and download and review the shots. I was convinced there was an image here but I simply could not find it. After each review I would head out again, learning from my previous attempts. Eventually I returned with this shot which just sums up the mystical nature of this glen, the peaty waters, the moss covered rocks and bolders, the bubbling burn. Used (so I'm told) by the phenomenal Andy Goldsworthy in some of his magnificent works this is my version of the glen.
