What is it about water falling over rock? Whatever it is it does it for me every time. These low drops on the banks of Loch Maree are just stunning, each with its own character to be captured. The key for me is to create a balance across the entire image and to "fill the space". Cropping in close, cutting out all but the essential elements of the image and using a solid tripod and creative use of shutter speeds to arrive at the final image.
